After I enrolled at Bloomfield College and started taking classes towards completing my Bachelor’s in Music Technology, I began attending “Basic Sequencing 1” a course where I learned about using samples and MIDI in music. During the course, we were asked to use a sample of our choice and mix it with an acapella of another song. So, I chose the acapella of Biggie Small’s “Think Big,” a fantastic but extremely vulgar rap about drugs and crime from the late MC and mashed it up with a sample from Angela Bofill’s “Baby I Need Your Love.”
